A drunk passenger allegedly urinated on a woman passenger’s seat on an Air India flight (New York to Delhi) on Friday. The woman’s daughter Indrani Ghosh shared the ordeal through her Twitter account and appealed the Civil Aviation Ministry to take action.

Ghosh wrote, “@sureshpprabhu @SushmaSwaraj @airindiain 30thAug AI102 JFK to Delhi, seat36D. My mother traveling alone had to face extreme shock and trauma when a drunk passenger post dinner service fumbled across to her seat removed his pants and urinated on her seat! Please lookinto urgently.”

Ghosh also accused Air India of not taking the matter seriously even after coming to know of the incident. She claims that the cabin crew just allotted her mother another seat and that her mother saw the man walk away while waiting in her wheelchair at Delhi airport. Ghosh also alleged that when she called the AI customer care to complain, she was told to visit the AI website and write a feedback.
