Fadnavis asks officials to complete all projects before 2019 polls

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis asked all senior bureaucrats and police officers to draft a plan to complete all pending and on-going projects by 2019.

As per a report in The Times of India, CM’s OSD Kaustubh Dhawase has been asked to coordinate with all departments to ensure all on-going projects are completed before 2019 Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

The performances of sanitation, home, agriculture, water, housing and skill development were also evaluated. While Principal secretary Ashish Singh made a presentation on roads, additional chief secretary Sanjay Kumar discussed Prime Minister Housing Scheme. Apart from this, a presentation on Jal Yukt Shivir was also made.

Apart from the pending and on-going projects’ deadline, the chief minister also expects the home department to increase the rate of conviction and restrict the sale of illicit liquor. Setting up of one central school in each district for police personnel’s children is also one of CM’s agendas.
