An FIR was lodged on Friday against the Coronavirus positive journalist, who attended Kamal Nath’s press conference in Bhopal on March 20.
The journalist has been booked under IPC section 188 (Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), section 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and section 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) of the IPC.
The journalist’s daughter had returned to Bhopal in India from London March 18. The girl was told to practice home quarantine. Two days after her arrival, the journalist had attended Kamal Nath’s press conference on March 20, where around 200 people were present. On March 22, his daughter was tested positive for coronavirus and on March 25 the journalist was also tested positive.
