Priya Bansal, wife of co-founder of Flipkart Sachin Bansal has filed a dowry harassment case against the latter. In the FIR lodged at Koramangala Police Station in Bengaluru, Priya accused entire Bansal family of physically assaulting and mentally torturing her for dowry.

As per some reports, Priya claimed that her father had spent rupees 50 lakh on the duo’s wedding and had also given rupees 11 lakh cash to Sachin instead of a car. In the complaint, she has also claimed that Sachin had even tried to transfer all her properties in his name. When Priya refused to cooperate with her husband, he and his family tortured her mentally and physically back in October 20, 2019. She added that Sachin had also sexually assaulted her sister when she was in Delhi.

Sachin Bansal co-founded Flipkart with his brother back in 2007 and quit the company after American giant Walmart acquired it by selling its stakes for one billion dollar. Presently, he’s been investing in various startups, one of which is the ridesharing company Ola by investing 100 million dollars in it.
