Former Maha CM, ex-Sena, ex-Congress leader Narayan Rane to join BJP on Sept 1

    Former Maharashtra chief minister Narayan Rane on Thursday said that he would be joining the BJP on September 1 at Solapur

    Former Maharashtra chief minister Narayan Rane said that he would be joining the BJP on September 1 at Solapur. Rane on Thursday said, “I will join the BJP on September 1 in Solapur where the party’s national president Amit Shah will address a rally.”

    He was a member of Shiv Sena and the Opposition Leader of Vidhan Sabha until July 2005, before he joined Congress, which he quit in 2017. He then launched the Maharashtra Swabhiman Paksha and in 2018, declared support for BJP.
