Four miscreants open fire after being denied entry into Pune-bound bus at Amravati road

After being denied entry into a Pune-bound Royal Travels luxury bus from Nagpur, four miscreants, on Thursday, not only thrashed the bus driver but one of them took out his revolver and fired in the air. The incident took place at Waddhamna on Amravati road.

At around 2:30 pm on Thursday, when the bus driver – Satish Ramesh Yadav (41) – stopped the bus near a dargah to offer his prayers as part of his routine, four persons tried to board the bus forcefully. When Yadav told them that they cannot board the bus as there’s no space left, the miscreants got angry and manhandled the driver. One of them, then, took out his revolver and fired two rounds in the air.

Wadi Police, on basis of Satish Ramesh Yadav’s complaint, has registered a case against the four unidentified miscreants and has booked them under sections 307, 323 and 34 of the IPC and sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act. The police is investigating the case further.
