The second ‘I-Summit … Emergence of Desi Power’ organised by Lemon Ideas in association with Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) and with Nation Next as the media partner will take place on December 21, 2016 at Banyan Hall, Chitnavis Centre, Nagpur from 6:30 onwards.

What is an I-Summit?

Every big thing in the world today was just an idea once! As important it is that you have a unique idea, it’s equally important to have that ‘belief’ in your idea, that determination to implement the idea and be ready to work hard for it. Keeping this in mind, Lemon Ideas has been organizing the I-Summit since the last two years. I-Summit is a platform for entrepreneurs, professionals, students and budding entrepreneurs to meet their entrepreneur role models, know their success stories, their experiences and learn from them. It’s also a platform for like-minded people to meet, interact and build a network which can be helpful in their entrepreneurial journey.

While the inaugural edition of I-summit in November 2015 had Ramon Magsaysay award winner and Founder of Goonj Anshu Gupta as the key speaker, Venkatesh Iyer – the man behind Goli Vada Pav – will be the key speaker at the summit this time.

Pranav Sharma, Owner, Baidyanath and well-known celebrity chef  Vishnu Manohar along with Lemon Ideas and members of VIA will be welcoming and felicitating Venky on behalf of Nagpurians.

Man on a mission!

Venkatesh Iyer, who’s popularly known as Venky, is a visionary who has over 15 years of experience in financial services. Over the years, he has been instrumental in helping many entrepreneurs translate ideas into business in the modern retail, fashion and computer education space.

Venky’s ultimate dream has been the ‘corporatisation’ of the Vada Pav and make it stand stall among the pizzas and burgers of the world. And the fact that Goli Vada Pav which started in 2004, today has 350 stores in 90 cities and 21 states of India is a testimony in itself that Venky has fulfilled his dream to a huge extent; huge extent and not completely because people like Venky never stop, do they?

Given the fact that Venky has a deep consumer insight especially in food space, when he will share his experiences and his expertise, it will be totally worth it! Venky will also be launching his book – Journey with Vadapav – at the summit.
