It may sound bizarre but Gondia Police recently sent a letter to a police constable asking for an explanation for picking ‘Chikoos’ from a tree at the Superitendent of Police’s bungalow.

→ Constable Manoj Tyagi was on the rear guard protection duty at SP’s bungalow when he picked up ‘Chikoos’ from the tree and took it home. Gondia police has described his act of picking ‘Chikoos’ as irresponsible.

→ Gondia Police has written in the letter that if the constable fails to give an explanation, he will be treated as guilty and his ‘crime’ will be communicated to the seniors.
