Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari as per reports is likely to recommend President’s rule in Maharashtra as uncertainty prevails in the state over the formation of government.

However if President’s rule is imposed, Shiv Sena may approach the Supreme Court (SC) as per ANI. Uddhav Thackeray has reportedly spoken to SC lawyer Kapil Sibal and Ahmed Patel reading the same.

Governor on Monday had extended time limit for the NCP (till 8.30pm on Tuesday) to prove that Shiv Sena has the numbers after NCP and Congress failed to submit their respective letters of support before the deadline set by the Governor.
