Gripped by water crisis, Nagpur residents lock water tankers to prevent theft

    Gripped by severe water crisis, residents of Narsala area in Nagpur recently locked their water tankers to prevent theft.

    Nagpur has been recording extreme temperatures even in the month of June. With mercury rising to almost 47 °C, severe water crisis has gripped parts of the city. Recently, residents of Narsala area in Nagpur locked their water tankers to prevent theft.

    In April this year, residents of Wadi too faced severe water crisis. Such was the scarcity that the residents were storing water that they were getting after every four days. It was also said that the Wadi Municipal Corporation supplied water to the residents once in 12 days.
