Hislop College’s intercollegiate fest Athena 2017-18 brings out the best in Nagpur students

Students from different Nagpur schools and colleges were seen giving their best and putting up amazing performances at the various competitions held at the Hislop College’s six-day intercollegiate fest Athena 2017-18 at Hislop College, Civil Lines, Nagpur. The fest was organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner.

The fest, which took place from January 10 to January 15, was organsied by ‘The Athenaeum’ – the cultural and literary body of the college. Athenaeum team consists of President Roshan Gede, Vice Presidents Harshal Deshpande and Tamanna Dave, Secretary Abhishek Yadav, Joint Secretaries Aishwarya Lakhe and Vinci John Abraham and Treasurer Ankit Jadhav. Professor Lovely Menachary was the cultural convener of the fest. The various competitions at the fest were: Painting, Sketching, Dancing, Singing, Wordbusters, Photography, Quizzistan, Stand-up Comedy and Lit Masters. Around 2,000 students from different Nagpur schools and colleges participated in the fest thereby making it a grand success.
