Hope Hospital doctor booked for assaulting finance company manager

    Dr BK Murali and two other employees of Hope Hospital (situated at Kamptee Road in Nagpur) were booked by Panchpaoli Police on Tuesday for allegedly beating manager of a finance company.

    As per the cops, Dr Murali had taken a loan of around Rs 60 lakh from Bajaj Finserv a few months back. As he failed to pay the money back, the manager Raghvendra Jadon called Dr Murali to enquire about the repayment of loan. Jadon was then called by Dr Murali to the hospital, where a quarrel broke out between Jadon and Dr Murali.

    In a fit of rage, Dr Murali along with two employees of the hospital assaulted and threatened Jadon, who later approached Panchpaoli Police and lodged a complaint against the assailants. Dr Murali and his associates have been booked by Panchpaoli Police under sections 294, 506 (b), 34 and 323 of the IPC.

    The website of Hope Hospital mentions Dr BK Murali as the Founder-chairman and Managing Director of Hope Hospitals.
