In one of the most thoughtful acts in the hospitality industry of Nagpur ever, Hotel Centre Point recently set up automatic sanitary napkin vending machines in their washrooms for their female guests. Any girl or a woman, who needs it, will have to put a coin of 1, 2 or 5 rupee, depending upon the quantity of napkins she needs.

When Nation Next spoke to Angadh Arora, the Director of Centre Point Group of Hotels, about this initiative, he said, “It has been few months since we got these vending machines installed. Originally, it was Nitin Gadkari’s daughter-in-law Rutuja Gadkari, who suggested us the idea of setting up these vending machines. We realised that this initiative would be of a great help and relief to all the women who come to our hotel for conferences, weddings and parties, so we got the machines installed. I’m glad this initiative is being appreciated.”
