Soon after an Indian Air Force pilot went missing since today morning, various media channels of Pakistan released a video claiming the arrested one to be Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman after his fighter jet crashed inside PoK.

Abhinandan in the video is blindfolded and completely tied up in a way he can’t move. Also the IAF pilot, who’s being interrogated by the Pakistan Army Officials in the video, has sustained several face injuries. When asked about his identity, he says that his name is Abhinandan and reveals his service number as 27981. Further, he says that he’s a flying pilot and his religion is Hindu.

However, the veracity of the below videos couldn’t be ascertained.

Abhinandan is then prompted once more, to which he replies, “I’m sorry sir, that’s all I am allowed to tell you.” Just when someone asked, “Squadron?” he replies, “I’m not supposed to tell you that no. May I request a little information? Am I with the Pakistani army?”

However, in a major relief, Abhinandan in his latest video, while having tea, is seen telling, “I’ll not change my statement even after going back to my country. The officers of the Pakistani Army have looked after me very well. They are thorough gentlemen. I’m very impressed by the Pakistani Army and this is how I would expect my army to behave.” Abhinandan, who’s father is a retired Air Marshal and mother is a doctor, hails from Chennai.
