It was quite a sight when a few Italian nationals took to the stage to sing the Indian National Anthem – Jana Gana Mana – at an event held in Nagpur on August 14. The event, wherein hundreds of school students gathered to sing ‘Vande Mataram’ together was organised by Matrubhumi Pratishthan at Sakkardara Square.

As these Italians sang the Indian National Anthem, schools students and others present during the event sang along making it a memorable moment.  Needless to say, this patriotic moment was enough to give goosebumps to everybody. Also present during the occasion was Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s nephew Kiranjeet Singh.
