JNU student Shehla Rashid accuses RSS, Gadkari of planning to kill PM Modi

Former JNU student leader Shehla Rashid made a controversial statement on Saturday, when she accused Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari of planning to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rashid’s comments came after Pune police informed of an alleged plot to assassinate PM Modi. Rashid tweeted:

Gadkari did not take the former student leader’s comment kindly. Without naming her, the union minister informed that he is planning to take legal action against people making bizarre comments. Gadkari, in a tweet, wrote:
