Journalist present at Kamal Nath’s press conference tests positive for Coronavirus

A journalist, who attended politician Kamal Nath’s press conference on March 20 during which he resigned as CM of MP, has tested positive for coronavirus.

A journalist, who attended politician Kamal Nath’s press conference on March 20 during which he announced his decision to resign as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has tested positive for coronavirus.

The journalist’s daughter, who returned from London earlier tested positive for coronavirus. However, her brother, who accompanied her tested negative. The daughter was the first confirmed case of Coronavirus in Bhopal and is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Bhopal.

During the press conference, which was attended by around 200 people, the journalist interacted with several media persons and congress leaders.

The journalist was also present during the recent floor test at the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly. According to reports, swab samples will be taken from any individual who displays the symptoms and who came in touch in the journalist.
