Justice Zaka Haq’s daughter Nazia clinches 3rd spot in Nagpur in CA Final exams

Nagpur CA student Nazia Haq became third topper in the city in the CA final examination, results of which were declared on Thursday.

Nagpur CA student Nazia Haq, who is also the daughter of Bombay High Court Judge Zaka Haq, became third topper in the city in the CA final examination, results of which were declared on Thursday. In the examination, which was conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Nazia scored 489 marks apart from city’s Gaurav Chandak and Sarvesh Ganeriwal who secured all India rank 25th and 49th respectively in the same examinations.

Speaking to Nation Next Nazia said, “Honestly, I still can’t believe I’ve cleared my exams and have stood third topper in the city! My parents are extremely happy and proud of me. My brother Zeeshan is extremely proud of my achievement. They encouraged me every time I felt like giving up.”

She added, “This was my second attempt; I felt miserable when I couldn’t clear my some of my papers in the first attempt. To all the candidates appearing for CA examination, I would just say that it’s okay if you dodn’t clear in first attempt, but eventually you have to accept the reality and work upon it. Don’t play the victim card and blame others for your failure. Rather, give yourself some time and study with proper strategy.”

Nazia who completed her article-ship at Chhangani and Haq Chartered Accountants, said, “Whenever I used get bored, I used to watch one episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S (popular sitcom series). Don’t house arrest yourself; rather go hangout with your friends if you feel low and then come back and study in full swing. My sir Mr Irffan Haq, has also been instrumental in my accomplishment as he has always believed in me and my talent.”
