As per reports, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently purchased a bungalow in Manali worth 10 crores, which was revamped by adding another 20 crores. Ranaut’s house, which looks exactly like a European-themed mansion amidst snow capped mountains, boasts of eight bedrooms, apart from step-out balconies, a conservatory, gymnasium, a yoga room, and a fireplace.
Speaking to DNA, a source close to the actress said, “It’s an eight-bedroom house with all the windows opening to a view of the mountains. Each room has a step-out balcony. There is a rooftop glass conservatory, so that there is ample sunlight during the winters.” With spectacular views and a living room with a fireplace for winters, Kangana has also reportedly asked for home decor products from local handicrafts and handloom collections for her new house.
It has been said that Shabnam Gupta, who along with Ranaut would be featuring in the cover story of Architectural Digest’s February edition, has designed the Manali house. According to certain media reports, the actress even made frequent trips to Manali to oversee the renovation work.
Last year, Kangana also refurbished her five-bedroom apartment in Mumbai, of which she even shared some images. Richa Bahl, wife of Queen movie director Vikas Bahl designed Ranaut’s Mumbai flat, for which the actress received a lot of compliments. The actress will be releasing her new movie Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi this year.
