Recently disqualified by the Speaker of Karnataka Assembly, MLA from Hoskote MTB Nagaraj purchased a posh new car – Rolls Royce Phantom VIII – worth Rs 11 crores. Nagaraj’s image with the premium car went viral in no time today.

The car, which is the most expensive production vehicle available on sale in India, costs Rs 9.5 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is around Rs 11 crores on-road. This is said to be the most expensive car ever to be owned by any politician in India (apart from celebrities who have turned politicians).

Nagaraj, who had declared assets worth more than Rs 1,000 crores before elections in 2018, said that it was his long-time dream to buy the car.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is made using a new-age aluminum space frame platform and a massive 6.75-litre petrol engine powers the car. The V12 unit twin-turbo engine churns out 563 Bhp of power along with 900 Nm of peak torque, which enables the car to reach 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds!
