LAD College conducts two-day model making competition to save water

    Students of various schools of Nagpur including Centre Point School, BVM, Trimurti Nagar, Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Rajendra High School, etc, participated in a two-day model making competition to save water. LAD College organised this two-day competition as a part of its Water Literacy Year.

    While some students gave a solution on water contamination caused by oil and grease in oceans, some presented ideas on how water from the industrial waste can be used to generate electricity with the help of turbines.

    Committee member Pradnya Bhalerao, environmentalist Tanveer Mirza and 20-year-old scientist Ajinkya Kottawar (who holds 16 patents), adjudged the competition. Check out the pictures of the same.
