Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son on Monday said that the decision to shift Yadav from AIIMS in New Delhi to a hospital in Ranchi is a part of ‘political conspiracy to kill him.’

Tejashwi, as per a report in NDTV, said, “Lalu ji is not well, he is still seriously ill. I met him last week and saw his bad health condition. It is surprising why Lalu ji has been shifted from AIIMS to a Ranchi hospital. Everyone knows AIIMS is best for treatment for Lalu ji, who is suffering from several serious illnesses. Depriving him of proper treatment is part of a conspiracy to kill my father.”

Tejashwi, who alleged of a political pressure on AIIMS to deprive the RJD chief of proper treatment, said, “RJD will approach people’s court since Laluji has been denied a proper treatment, as part of a conspiracy by those in power in Delhi,” he alleged.

Tejashwi on his twitter handle wrote, “RJD chief ‪@laluprasadrjd writes to All India Institute of Medical Sciences stating, ‘I don’t want to be shifted back to Ranchi hospital, as that hospital is not properly equipped to treat my ailments.

Who is forcing AIIMS administration to send him back?.”

Former Bihar chief minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav who’s serving a jail term after he was convicted in fodder case, was on Monday shifted to a Ranchi hospital for follow-up treatment at AIIMS after he met Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Yadav was being treated for heart and kidney-related ailments at AIIMS.
