Nagpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has said that that lockdown in Nagpur will continue till May 17 without any relaxation. In the directives issued by NMC, Mundhe has made it clear that the lockdown will continue in similar fashion and that restrictions imposed in Mumbai and Pune will be imposed in Nagpur as well.
Mundhe, through a video communiqué, said contrary to government guidelines, which state offices can remain open with 33% staff, offices in Nagpur situated even outside containment zones will remain shut till May 17. Mundhe also said that the restrictions, which were imposed till May 3, will continue till May 17.
