→ Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) will soon conduct a research with the help of experts at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH) to check disturbance by vibrations and noise due to the metro.

→ During the research, if the vibrations and noise levels are found high to the extent of disturbing the patients, Maha Metro will install the mass spring system in the metro columns to reduce such vibrations and noise.

→ Maha Metro is also planning to install the system around schools, colleges, and other hospitals with an intention to reduce noise and vibrations due to metro rails passing nearby such establishments.
