With 67.27%, Nagpur records lowest passing percentage in Maharashtra

    While Maharashtra registered a pass percentage of 77.10 in the Maharashtra SSC results (class 10) this year, Nagpur recorded 67.27% pass percentage in 2019 as compared to 85.97% in 2018. However, there’s a massive dip by 18.70% this year. While Konkan district recorded the highest pass percentage, Nagpur recorded the lowest pass percentage in Maharashtra.

    The Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education released the results today at 1 pm through their official website. However, they informed about the details of the passing percentage through a press conference in Pune on Saturday.

    Over 17 lakh students appeared from nine cities for the Maharashtra SSC results namely – Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Konkan, Latur, Amravati, Nashik and Aurangabad.

    City-wise passing percentages:

    Konkan – 88.38%

    Kolhapur – 86.58%

    Pune – 82.48%

    Nashik – 77.58%

    Mumbai – 77.04%

    Aurangabad – 75.20%

    Latur – 72.87%

    Amravati – 71.98%

    Nagpur – 67.27%
