Man wanted by Uttar Pradesh Police arrested from Mominpura in Nagpur

Nagpur Crime Branch officials came to the aide of Uttar Pradesh police on Friday, when they arrested a wanted criminal from the Mominpura Bazaar.

Nagpur Crime Branch officials came to the aide of Uttar Pradesh police on Friday, when they arrested a wanted criminal from the Mominpura Bazaar. The man was wanted by the UP police for dacoity and other offences and there was also a reward of Rs 25,000 for anyone providing information about the man.

Uttar Pradesh Police received a tip-off that the wanted man – Sher Ali (27) – was hiding in Nagpur. On coming to Nagpur, UP Police got in touch with DCP Samabhaji Kadam of Nagpur Crime Branch and asked for help in nabbing the accused. DCP Kadam, on the basis of information from UP Police, instructed the crime branch officials to search for the accused. The extensive search and a tip led the police to the accused who was sitting in the Mominpura Bazaar.
