Popular Marathi actor Sumeet Raghavan recently said that Marathi cinema doesn’t have Shah Rukh, Salman or Aamir Khan. He said that content is the king in Marathi films. Sumeet, who would be next seen in Bucket List, opposite Madhuri Dixit, told PTI, “We don’t have a Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan or Aamir Khan. We don’t have anybody who can pull off a film. In Marathi, content is the king. We have a bunch of supremely talented actors, who can add a lot of creative value to the project and that makes the film more beautiful.”

Speaking about Hindi cinema, he said that there are actors who can make a dead film work but Marathi cinema is rich in content, which brings the audiences to theatres. When asked about his role in Bucket List, confessed of having few doubts about his role initially but all that was later sorted out. Talking about co-star, Sumeet said that one needed a big name for the role of a protagonist in the film, for which Madhuri Dixit fitted the bill perfectly.
