After an 11-year-old girl, the daughter of positive Jaripatka resident, was tested positive for the disease on Sunday, two more were tested positive in Nagpur on Monday. A 44-year-old female and a 13-year-old boy have been tested positive for the virus. Both, who have been admitted at Government Medical College (GMC) are said to be known to connected to one of the previous patients who was tested positive.
When we spoke to District Information Officer Anil Gadekar, he told Nation Next, “Both the patients are connected to the 44-year-old man from Khamla who had tested positive few days back.”
While the total number of positive cases in the city is 16, four patients have been discharged from the hospital after full recovery.
