As of 7:30 pm on May 6, Nagpur COVID-19 tally rose to 206 with over 44 patients testing positive for coronavirus in a single day. The new patients also include a pregnant woman.
Till late afternoon, seven people quarantined at Chinchbhavan quarantine centre had tested positive for coronavirus. Out of these seven cases, while six cases are connected to Mominpura, one is connected to Satranjipura. After these seven cases, 37 more people tested positive for the virus over the period of the day.
The 44 positive cases also included the case of that of the 22-year-old boy died, who died on May 5, and was tested positive for coronavirus after his death.
As of now, 206 positive cases have been reported in Nagpur. While three positive patients have died and 64 have been discharged after recovery, 139 patients are undergoing treatment at the IGGMCH and GMCH.
