Modi’s three year report card: BJP Govt. has transformed the lives of Indians

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the third anniversary of BJP government, today (May 26), said that his government has ‘transformed’ the lives of Indians.

 Modi in his tweets showed comparisons of various sectors between 2014 and now. He further tweeted, “Last three years have seen concrete steps that have transformed people’s lives.”

In his tweets, he posted graphics related to various sectors like agriculture, women empowerment, mobile banking, tele-density, ‘Make-in-India campaign,’ tourism, electrification, solar energy and distribution of LED bulbs.

Referring to the ‘Make-in-India campaign,’ the statistics revealed that there was a ‘giant boost’ in investments in electronic manufacturing. And, the investments in the sector jumped to Rs 1,43,000 crore from Rs 11,198 crore in 2013-14.

The graphic under the title ‘Digital India for Developed India,’ the graphic revealed that the optical fibre broadband network had increased to 2,05,404 km from 358 km in 2013-14.

India has seen rapid progress in the tourism sector. According to the graphic, in the field of solar power, it said India has taken a giant leap in the generation. The installed capacity, which in March 2014 was 2621, now stands at 12277 MW.

Modi put out two questions to the public on his twitter, “What do you feel about the Govt? Where have we done well & where can we do even better,” he tweeted.
