Mumbai traffic police on Wednesday sent an e-challan to Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu for riding his bike without a helmet. Police took the action after a Mumbai resident tweeted Kemmu’s photo riding a bike without a helmet and asked the police to take a stern action.
The police immediately replied to the tweet and issued an e-challan to Kemmu and shared it on Twitter. The actor instantly apologized and requested everybody to always wear a helmet while riding a bike.

I have seen this picture out there and honestly it’s very embarrassing given I love bikes and ride regularly and always with a helmet and some more gear but whether it’s a long ride or just next door a helmet should always be worn.apologies I don’t want to set the wrong example! pic.twitter.com/s8mDnmbTsv

This is the second incident when a Bollywood actor has been fined by Mumbai traffic police. In November 2017, Varun Dhawan was fined after a photo of him taking a selfie with a fan at a traffic signal went viral on Twitter.
