A Nagpur-based industrialist Kamlesh Goyal recently lodged a complaint at MIDC police station after he was duped of Rs 47,86,760 by two men from Kalmeshwar.

The two alleged perpetrators have been identified as Vimal Kumar Jain and Jeetendra Kumar Jain, proprietor of HVR Project Private Limited in Kalmeshwar.

As per the police, Goyal, who deals in iron and steel got acquainted with the two fraudsters through social media back in September 2019. After gaining Goyal’s trust, the Jains placed huge orders of iron and steel equipment along with other related materials for Goyal.

As the dues started piling up after successful delivery of materials, Goyal asked for the money from Jains in March 2019, following which the brothers cut all connections with Goyal and fled to Kolkata.

MIDC Police have registered a case against the Jain brothers under sections 420and 34 of the IPC.
