Nagpur DCP Rahul Maknikar parades goons who went on rampage, asks citizens not to be scared

    In a unique initiative, Nagpur Police Zone III DCP Rahul Maknikar on Wednesday took out a public parade of goons who were booked by Ganeshpeth Police for going on a rampage and damaging multiple vehicles in Nagpur on Tuesday. The intention behind the move was to remove the fear, which such goons instil in the minds of citizens.

    For the uninitiated, these goons damaged more than 20 vehicles in the area between Seva Sadan Square to Santra Market Square and also extorted Rs 3,000 money from a restaurant owner. They also destroyed goods worth Rs 40,000 at the restaurant.

    Nagpur Police shared a video, where DCP Maknikar can be seen telling people to not be scared of such goons as that will make them stronger. He also advises people to come forward and complain against goons and assured strict action by Nagpur Police against anti-social elements.
