Wee hours of Tuesday turned out to be a nightmare for citizens as a city gangster named Faizan Khan (25) and members of his gang went on a rampage and damaged multiple vehicles across Nagpur.

As per the reports, Faizan and his gang smashed the windows of several vehicles in Nagpur during the rampage. The police report from Ganeshpeth Police Station also states that the gang looted Rs 3,000 from complainant Izhar Hussain, owner of Raja Restaurant in Hansapuri, and destroyed goods worth Rs 40,000 at the restaurant. The complainant Hussain also told the police that Faizan told him that he is the ‘don’ of the area.

The police are yet to verify the number of vehicles damaged by the gang but as per some media reports, 22 vehicles including cars, auto-rickshaws, good carriers and bikes were damaged between Seva Sadan Square and Santra Market Square. While the investigation is still going on, the rampage seems like a case of establishing dominance over the region.

Ganeshpeth Police have booked Faizan Khan, Mohammad Shakeel (25), Ritik Gaur (25), Raj Kalya alias Faizan Khan (28), Ajay alias Kailash Thakur (19) and one other person under sections 395, 452, 394 and 427 of the IPC.
