The 5th COVID-19 Nagpur patient, a resident of Khamla, was discharged from IGGMCH (Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital) was discharged after full recovery on Friday amid claps from the hospital staff.
The 42-year-old man, who returned to Nagpur from Delhi on March 17, was admitted to the hospital on March 25 after he started feeling uneasy on from March 22. A swab sample was then taken and the man tested positive for COVID-19 on March 26.
While undergoing treatment at IGGMCH, his swap samples were taken from time to time and after three test reports came negative, the man was finally discharged from the hospital on Friday. The man has been asked to quarantine himself at his home for further days.
