Nagpur: Left unemployed due to lockdown, man kills himself

A 41-year-old man, identified as Namdev Susendre, hanged himself on April 8 at his home in Nagpur after allegedly being left unemployed due to the lockdown. Susendre hanged himself from the ventilator in his rented home situated in Adhyapak Layout.

As per a report in The Times of India, Susendre used to work at a Saoji restaurant as a waiter but lost his job due to the lockdown. Because of financial problems, Susendre got depressed and took the extreme step.

Pratap Nagar Police have registered a case of accidental death on the basis of statement by Susendre’s landlord Devashish Mahadevrao Sable.
