Nagpur litterateurs come together for Orange City Literature Fest 2019, which was held at Chitnavis Centre in Nagpur.

Eminent personalities from different walks of life marked their presence during the Orange City Literature Festival (OCLF) 2019 at Chitnavis Centre on 4th, 5th and 6th December in Nagpur in the presence of Raisoni Group Chairman Sunil Raisoni. 

During the inaugural ceremony, while Padma Vibhushan Balasaheb Purandhare was felicitated, a book launch by Dr Rajan Welukar (Author, Gandhi @150) and an opening talk by Editorial Director at The New Indian Express Prabhu Chawla on the topic ‘Media and the changing face of Journalism’ was also conducted. Apart from these, noted Bollywood actor, author and director Nitish Bharadwaj was also the guest on honour along with Marathi actress Gayatri Datar.

The two-day literature fest, which was organised by SGR Knowledge Foundation and GH Raisoni University, aimed at celebrating literature with city’s litterateurs that involved panel discussions on various though provoking topics.

Eminent personalities from the field of their expertise who shared various path of their literature experience during panel discussions included Nation Next Editor-in-Chief Vikrant Shandilya, author of ‘Unlikely Hero’ and wife of late Bollywood actor Om Puri Nandita Puri, Bollywood actor Darshan Jariwala, Bollywood actor Sushmita Mukherjee, transgender activist Gauri Sawant, author Srijan Pal and scientist Pawan Sinha to name a few.
