Thirty-year-old Vikas Barve, a rickshaw puller in Nagpur, set himself ablaze for not being able to procure alcohol due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Barve put himself on fire on March 29 in his house and succumbed to the injuries in a hospital. He reportedly told cops in hospital that he was depressed due to the unavailability of alcohol and hence took the extreme step.
