Nagpur Metro gives passengers free ride today

Nagpur Metro is offering six free rides in both directions – Khapri-Sitabuldi – to its citizens today (on March 8, 2019) as Maha Metro celebrates ‘Abhar Diwas.’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the 13.5 km long stretch of Khapri-Sitabuldi on Thursday evening.

MahaMetro Managing Director Brijesh Dixit said the first free ride would depart from Sitabuldi at 8 am on Friday. In all, there would be total six rides (in morning and evening). The first train would depart from Sitabuldi at 8 am and reach Khapri at 8:41 am. The train from Khapri would depart at 8: 45 am and reach Sitabuldi at 9:26 am. The rides would run between 8 am to 12:30 pm, and 3:30 pm to 8pm on Friday.
