Nagpur: Middle-aged man kills 20-year-old youngster over dispute for Rs 500

A 50 year-old man Prabharkar Suryabhan Meshram, resident of Siddhartha Nagar, Nagpur, allegedly murdered a 20-year-old boy on May 17, when the victim failed to return Rs 500 that he had borrowed from Meshram.

The deceased, identified as Vicky Siddhartha Bagde (20) lived in the same locality as Meshram. Prabhakar had lent him Rs 500 and had asked Bagde several times to return the money. On May 17, Prabhakar asked him to meet near Panchpaoli Police Station on 7:00 pm and requested him to return back his money.

Infuriated by Vicky’s denial of having money to pay back, Prabhakar allegedly murdered him by stabbing him on the right side of his chest, right side of his biceps and back-side of his neck with a knife.

A case was registered against Meshram by the deceased’s father Siddartha Shyamrao Bagde (44) at Panchpaoli Police Station. Meshram has been booked by the police under section 302 of the IPC.
