Nagpur NGO sends 1037 kgs relief material for Kerala flood victims

    Renovatio members with the relief material, which was sent to Kerala to help the victims of the flood.

    Nagpur NGO Renovatio, on Wednesday, dispatched 1037 kgs of relief material to help the victims of 2018 Kerala Floods. The relief material was dispatched to District Magistrate of Kottayam in Kerala through Indian Railways, which recently announced that it will send the relief material to railway stations in Kerala for free of cost.   

    Renovatio’s project for helping the flood victims began on August 26. As part of the project, city youngsters Aditya Loya, Abhinav Tiwari, Reet Kshatriya, Tanvi Kedar, Muskan Singhaniya, Adee Jain, Aarish Gilani, Monika Bagri and many others worked tirelessly to collect the relief material. The relief material was donated by people at all outlets of Panino and Hotel Harmony in Gandhibagh. The relief material included items such as blankets, bed sheets, clothes, dry eatables, foot wears, inner wears, medicines, rice, sanitary Pads, soaps, towels, woolen wear, etc. Students from coaching academy CAPS also donated some amount of money for the victims.

    Apart from sending the relief material, a few members of Renovatio are also actively working in Kottayam to help the victims. Renovatio members in Pune, Mumbai and Amravati have also dispatched relief material to Kerala.

    Renovatio is an NGO and youth organisation, which is spearheaded by Nagpur youngster Nakul Agrawal.
