Nagpur police conducts a crime awareness camp at St Ursula Girl’s High School

→ Senior Police Inspector Ashok Bagul on Thursday conducted a special interactive session cum workshop and awareness camp on ‘Cyber Crime, Crime Against Women and Traffic Awareness’ for students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff at St Ursula Girl’s High School and Junior College, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

→ The camp was conducted on the request of the principal of the school and on the instructions of Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr K Venkatesham and DCP (Traffic) Ravindra Pardesi.

→ Senior PI Ashok Bagul, patiently explained the concept of Cyber Crime with reference to different acts of the Indian Constitution and different sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He then spoke about Crime Against Women such as kidnapping, murder, rape, chain snatching, etc., Bagul speaking about Traffic Awareness informed that more than 1.5 lakh deaths take place annually due to road mishaps. Speaking on the three topics, he also guided everybody present about the reasons for such crimes and the preventive measures one should undertake to avoid them from happening. He also patiently answered all the queries of the people present.
