Nagpur’s Sadar Police on Monday arrested a 61-year-old man named Shankar Bhagwan Bagde, who went absconding 32 years back after being accused of breaking into a home and burglary. A case was registered against the man back then under sections 454, 457 and 380 of the IPC.

On Monday, the police got a tip that Bagde worked in Sadar as a scrap seller. When they reached the spot to arrest him, he wasn’t found. When Bagde found out that the police were on a lookout for him, he shifted to Jaripatka. The police, however, got to know of his location and arrested him. Bagde was later presented in front of the court.
