Nagpur Shiv Sena activist Panju Totwani booked for assaulting 19-year-old boy

Hingna Police, on Sunday (September 9), booked Shiv Sena activist Panju Totwani and three others for assaulting a 19-year-old boy on September 1 at Wardha Road, Nagpur.

As per the cops, the complainant Sagar Samudre (19), was attacked by Panju Totwani, Rahul Totwani, Ankush Gupta and Deepu Totwani, all residents of Sindhi colony in Khamla, on September 1 over all old dispute over sharing space for pandal for the Ganpati festival. Samudre was on his way back home in Khamla, when he was assaulted with an iron rod by Panju Totwani and others. Samudre was also thrashed by the four men.

Based on Samudre’s complaint, Hingna Police have booked Panju Totwani, Rahul Totwani, Deepu Totwani and Ankush Gupta under sections 307 and 34 of the IPC.
