Nagpur Traffic Police collect Rs 2.86 crore from 74,074 two-wheeler riders

    Nagpur Traffic Police collected an amount as huge as Rs 2.86 crore from 74,072 two-wheeler riders within a span of 17 months.

    Nagpur Traffic Police collected an amount as huge as Rs 2.86 crore from 74,072 two-wheeler riders within a span of 17 months. The two-wheeler riders were penalised for violating traffic rules in the city.

    When Nation Next spoke to Nagpur traffic police personnel, he said, “From 2018 to May 2019, we collected this huge fine. Either they didn’t wear helmet, broke traffic signal or were riding on the wrong side, etc.”
