NCP corporator Mukund Keni succumbs to coronavirus in Mumbai

Mukund Keni, NCP corporator from Kalwa under Thane Municipal Corporation, succumbed to coronavirus at the age of 58 on June 9 in Mumbai.

Mukund Keni, NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) corporator from Kalwa under Thane Municipal Corporation, succumbed to coronavirus at the age of 58 on June 9 in Mumbai. Keni had tested positive for coronavirus 14 days ago and was put on ventilator support at a private hospital in Mumbai. He is survived by by his wife Pramila Keni, son, daughter-in-law and grandsons.

A NCP worker told a daily: “Keni had gone to a hospital to assist COVID-19 positive patient and two days later he developed symptoms. Initially, he was admitted to a private hospital in Thane but was later shifted to Mumbai after his test results came positive. He was suffering from co-morbid conditions such as diabetes and blood sugar and was put on a ventilator support the day he was admitted to the private hospital in Mumbai.”
