Neha Kakkar packs a punch as she entertains her fans at Nagpur City Police Welfare Show

Nagpurians had a rocking time as singing sensation Neha Kakkar came calling to the city to entertain her fans at Nagpur City Police Welfare Show organised at Indoor Stadium in Mankapur on Aug 10. Along with Kakkar, Bollywood actors Varun Sharma and Urvashi Rautela, television actors Ali Asgar, Divyanka Tripathi and Natasha Suri and singer Ishaan Khan also performed at the show.

The show, which was hosted by Natasha Suri, started with a superb dance performance by Divyanka Tripathi. As soon as Divyanka walked up the stage, she was greeted with a loud cheer from the audience at the jam packed indoor stadium.

Divyanka’s performance was followed by a hilarious act by actor Ali Asgar, who came dressed as ‘Dadi.’ Asgar, with his comic timing and one-liners left everybody laughing. He also invited some policemen on the stage and danced with them. Asgar, in the end, thanked Nagpur Police for inviting him to perform at the welfare show and urged everybody to acknowledge the police personnel for the sacrifices they make to keep the citizens safe and sound.

As Asgar left the stage, actor Varun Sharma, who’s famous for playing the role of ‘Choocha’ in the 2013 film Fukrey, took to the stage to entertain the audience. Varun packed a punch with an energetic dance performance. Ahead of his performance, the trailer of Varun’s upcoming film Chhichhore was played for the audience.

Varun’s performance was followed by a beautiful dance performance by sultry actress Urvashi Rautela. Nagpur-based singer Ishaan Khan, who now stays in Mumbai, then took to the stage to entertain the audience. Ishaan not only sung some of Bollywood’s most peppy songs, but also sung his own song, which is going to released soon.

In the end, it was the performance for which the audience had been eagerly waiting for. When Neha Kakkar came on the stage, she was greeted by her fans with a round of applause. As Neha sung some of her most popular songs one after the other, the audience couldn’t help but sing along. In an emotional tribute of mothers, Neha sung the song ‘Tu kitni bholi hain,’ which moved many in audience to tears. Towards the end, Neha invited her fans in front of the stage and sung some of her peppy songs to make them dance! Neha was also accompanied by Indian Idol 10 contestant and singer Kunal Pandit.
