Former MP Nilesh Rane accused late Bal Thackeray of attempting to kill Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam. According to Nilesh, son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and former Shiv Sena leader Narayana Rane, the founder of Shiv Sena had made several attempts to kill the popular singer on several occasions.
Rane, on Tuesday, commenting on the same revealed that Sonu Nigam was also aware of this. Nilesh said that at the orders of Balasaheb (Bal Thackeray), Shiv Sainiks had tried to kill Nigam. The MP said, “Don’t force me to tell you about the relationship between Thackeray family and Sonu Nigam.”
Nilesh also threatened to further spill the bills by saying, “How many people died at Balasaheb’s Karjat farm house? Don’t compel us to open our mouths.” He even accused Thackeray of murder of Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe in 2001. He claimed that two Shiv Sena workers, who were aware of Dighe’s murder, were also killed.
Nilesh clarified that he and his father had never said anything wrong about Thackeray, and his father’s love for the latter hasn’t reduced even now. After slamming Shiv Sena, Nilesh said, “But when somebody is making filthy allegations against my father, then I have to reveal to you something about Balasaheb too.”
