NMC makes wearing masks compulsory in public places, violators will have to pay Rs 200

Keeping in mind the increase in number of positive cases and with an intention to contain the spread of coronavirus, NMC (Nagpur Municipal Corporation) has made compulsory for all citizens to wear a three-layer face mask while being at public places from June 5.

Citizens violating the order will have a to pay a pay of Rs 200. After three repeat offenses, strict action will be taken against the violators. NMC officials in different zones and areas have been instructed to ensure strict implementation of the order and have also been given authority to impose a fine on violators.
