NMC seals part of Sadar area after 27-year-old man tests positive for coronavirus

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to seal a part of Sadar area in the city after a 27-year-old man tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. The man, who works a company in Aurangabad and is a resident of Chhoti Masjid area in Sadar, had returned to Nagpur on May 25. He was admitted at IGGMCH on May 30 after he experienced COVID-19 symptoms.

To contain the spread of coronavirus in Sadar, NMC will be sealing off parts of the area, which falls under Dharampeth Zone no 2. These parts include: Flour Mill at Gandhi Square to Vidarbha Medical, Deepak Arcade to Star Auto Deals, Deepak Arcade to Hakim’s shop, Hakim’s shop to Gandhi Square, Katol Road (Residency Road), Shamin Mullah Khan Road, Gandhi Square Road (Surana Chamber) and Jammu and Kashmir Bank Road.
